I'm Latisha and I work with adults 26 and up, particularly those in high conflict coparenting situations. I help adults who need to set better boundaries, use their voice while advocating for themselves, and help them learn best coping practices with various life transitions. My role is to challenge you, cheer you on, and point out the connection between negative thoughts and behavior patterns.
In our first session, I will ask you tons of questions to get to know you better. I will ask about your past, present experiences, and future therapy goals and what you want out of therapy, what you would like to work on, and how you would like to feel as you get closer to the person you want to be.
As a provider my greatest strength is meeting people where they are. I approach my clients with compassion, thoughtfulness, and empathy. Adulting is hard and is very hard to do it alone without sound support. I work to be that support for my clients so that they trust me with their concerns and trust that I have their best interests at heart. I work best with adult clients that are seeking help with setting boundaries, anxiety within relationships, high-conflict coparenting, breakups, life after divorce, and life transitions that cause confusion and stress.
CBT is a method where we focus on the connection between your thoughts and how they impact your behavior.
