Hi, I'm Kelcie, and I've been a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee since 2022. I believe that relationships are the cornerstone of our lives and shape how we experience joy, pain, growth, and healing. In our world of ever increasing technology, many of us are digitally connected but feel overstimulated, over-informed, and disconnected in our personal lives. I am passionate about helping my clients experience peace and have meaningful, healthy connections in their real lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll focus on what brings you to therapy, your background and family history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also a chance for you to get a feel for me and if I'm the right fit for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and confident.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take listening seriously and always strive to maintain a nonjudgmental, empathetic presence with the belief that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful tools for healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults, helping them navigate life transitions, relationships, and personal growth. As a Christian, I also enjoy supporting clients in exploring their faith and spiritual development alongside their emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I utilize attachment theory to help client's explore how their attachment style is impacting current relationships and/or presenting concerns.

Christian Counseling

I enjoy working with clients who want to explore concerns relating to faith and spiritual growth/development or clients who just want their faith to be a central part of the therapy process. I will always follow a client's lead when integrating faith into counseling.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients better understand and shift negative thinking patterns that might be keeping them feeling stuck in unwanted emotions and/or behaviors.

Interpersonal

I use an interpersonal approach to help clients move towards having healthier and more satisfying relationships with others.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to encourage clients to move closer towards their goals in a way that supports empathy, client autonomy, and a non-judgmental approach to the counseling process.
