About me

I’m a trauma-informed, relational therapist who believes healing happens in the presence of genuine connection. I trust that you already carry an inner wisdom, and therapy becomes the place where that wisdom can finally settle, strengthen, and come forward. Many clients come to me after long stretches of self-doubt, survival mode, or relationships that made them question their instincts. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I draw from EMDR, somatic therapy, relational and psychodynamic work, and a person-centered foundation. You’re never expected to push past your limits — we go at a pace your nervous system can truly handle. Together we explore the patterns shaping your life, reconnect with what feels true in your body, and practice new ways of relating to yourself and others. I’ve spent years supporting clients through trauma recovery, attachment wounds, harmful or confusing relationships, and the slow, meaningful work of rebuilding self-trust. Therapy with me is a place where complexity is welcome, where you don’t have to hold everything alone, and where the goal is reconnection — to your strength, your intuition, and your sense of possibility.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll talk through what brought you to therapy and what you hope will feel different. I’ll ask a few gentle questions about your background and current stressors, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Some people dive right in; others stay surface-level until trust builds — both are welcome. We’ll also look at any past therapy experiences and what helps you feel supported. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, grounded, and clearer about what our work together can look like at a pace that feels safe for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a steady, genuine space where you can be fully yourself — messy parts, funny parts, unsure parts, all of it. I’m warm, attuned, and human in the 'room' with you, and I use gentle humor when it helps create ease. I’m deeply curious and committed to ongoing learning about trauma, attachment, nervous-system healing, and the many ways people grow. Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and understood. I pay attention to the subtle things — your body language, the pauses, the ways you protect yourself while wanting change. Whether we use EMDR, somatic work, or relational approaches, I follow your pace. I’m especially effective with people who hold a lot quietly, who appear steady on the outside while feeling overwhelmed inside. Together, we sort through the complexity and rebuild trust in yourself — human to human.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who have spent a long time holding things together — steady and capable on the outside while carrying a lot internally. You may be recovering from confusing or harmful relationships, struggling with self-doubt, or noticing patterns that keep repeating even though you’ve tried hard to change them. You’re not looking for quick fixes; you want depth, honesty, and a space where you don’t have to manage everything alone. You might experience overthinking, attachment wounds, softened boundaries, or the lingering impact of emotional unpredictability. You’re not fragile — you’re tired, and you deserve support that matches what you’ve carried. Common goals include rebuilding trust in your instincts, becoming more grounded and less reactive, understanding relational patterns, and feeling safer and more centered in your body. You also bring real strengths: resilience, insight, and a willingness to look inward. In our work together, we move at a pace your nervous system can handle. We explore deeper patterns, listen to what your body and emotions communicate, and help you feel more confident and steady in your choices — all within a warm, supportive, human-to-human relationship.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My approach is grounded in a Rogerian, person-centered philosophy — I offer a warm, steady presence where you’re deeply heard, genuinely understood, and never judged. I believe you already carry an inner wisdom, and together we create the kind of trusting relationship that helps your own clarity, strength, and self-trust naturally come forward.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic work helps you understand the deeper patterns, stories, and emotional echoes shaping how you feel and relate today. Together, we explore the roots of these patterns with curiosity and compassion, so you can create new ways of being that feel more authentic, empowered, and aligned with who you’re becoming.

Relational

In a relational approach, healing happens through the relationship we build together. I pay close attention to what unfolds between us — patterns, needs, emotions, and shifts in connection — and we use that living, in-the-moment experience to help you understand yourself more deeply and create healthier relationships in your life.

EMDR

With EMDR, we gently work through painful memories and stuck patterns so they lose their charge and stop running your life. It’s a structured yet deeply supportive process that helps your brain reprocess old experiences, making space for a calmer, clearer, more grounded version of you to emerge.

Trauma Informed Care

My trauma-informed approach centers on safety, choice, and pacing. I’ll never push you faster than your nervous system can go — instead, we build trust gently, honor your lived experience, and help your body and mind find steadiness so healing feels empowering, not overwhelming.
