(she/her)
I'm Jennifer Campbell, a Licensed Professional Counselor in St. Louis, Missouri, providing telehealth services across Missouri via a few different platforms. Each person is an individual who has their own unique needs. Additionally there is a sense of collective- or universal-ness to many of our problems and you are not alone. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. You and I will work together to tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can be difficult and at times intimidating, I am proud of you for getting started! To take a page from the 12 step programs, give me 6 sessions to see what we can figure out and work on together.
Taking that first step can feel intimidating, but I’m proud of you for considering support. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to connect and see if we’re a good fit. I currently serve clients in Missouri and offer flexible online scheduling for your convenience. Reach out today—help is within reach, and you don’t have to face this alone.
I specialize in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, substance abuse, trauma survivors, women’s issues, and chronic mental health concerns. Together, we will tailor your therapy using compassionate, practical tools like Motivational Interviewing to inspire change, Mindfulness to stay grounded, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills to manage intense emotions.
You’re feeling overwhelmed by struggles with your sexuality, gender identity, addiction, depression, or anxiety, you might often feel misunderstood, isolated, or “other.” You want to feel seen, accepted, and safe while working through these challenges. Maybe you’re longing to rediscover joy, build confidence, and create a life where you can be your authentic self without fear or shame. You deserve a space where your unique experiences are honored and your goals are the focus every step of the way.
I have been trained in DBT and use many of its skills and modalities including grounding, emotional regulation, distress tolerance
I was trained in Motivational Interviewing when I worked with drug court and substance abuse treatment, I use this to help you find your place in the change process and the next right steps for you.
I used mindfulness because there's a great quote about how all out depression is rooted in our past, all our anxiety is in the future, only in the present can we find peace.
I treat each person as an individual and work towards finding the right path for you.
