I'm passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life, but also proudly serves those of all spiritualities, Kink community and LGBTQIA+ community at large. Questions are always welcome and I am willing to learn more in order to help a client. As a counselor, I strive for quality and compassion when it comes to serving my clients. I take a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy and believe that the client is the expert of themselves. I use a variety of methods including CBT, narrative therapy and person-centered, just to name a few. Not everything works for everyone, so I work with clients and see what type of therapy best suits your needs.
It is my hope that I can establish a safe space for the client. I want to get to know the client first and learn some basic knowledge about you as well as work on intake paperwork.
I bring psychoeducation, understanding and empathy to my sessions. I try to help bring a different perspective to the client so they can better work through whatever they bring to the therapeutic table. A sense of humor is also available.
I accept clients from all walks of life, but I look clients who are ready to put in the work in therapy. Clients should also have a genuine interest in wanting to better understand themselves as well as being open to expanding their knowledge of not only themselves, but to keep a toolbox of coping skills and healthy, positive mindsets that can further improve their mental health.
CBT helps clients connect their thoughts, actions and behaviors to solve current problems.
Narrative therapy helps clients separate themselves from their struggles, view clients as the experts of their lives and rewrite negative stories into empowering ones.
