LMFT, 25 years of experience
New to Grow
Amy Grace is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She practices an integrative therapeutic approach that combines traditional talk therapy with somatic and relational based methods. In the office, Amy helps clients restore nervous system regulation, build emotional resilience, and strengthen relational connections. Her work also draws inspiration from the natural world, encouraging clients to notice patterns, rhythms, and insights that support self-awareness, balance, and meaningful growth.
The first session is focused on settling in and orienting to the therapeutic space. This is a time for getting to know each other, establishing safety, and building rapport—the foundation of the entire therapeutic process. Together, we explore your reasons for seeking therapy, discuss goals and expectations, and begin to create a collaborative, supportive relationship. Establishing trust and connection is the primary focus, setting the stage for deeper exploration and meaningful change in future sessions.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to connect deeply with my clients, attune to their experiences, and notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I help clients gain clarity and insight by reflecting these patterns back in a way that is supportive, empowering, and actionable, guiding them toward meaningful change and self-understanding.
My ideal client is someone who is ready and motivated to explore what is troubling them. They are engaged, reflective, and willing to actively participate in the therapeutic process. This client values self-awareness, is open to experiential and somatic approaches, and is curious about how their patterns, relationships, and internal experiences influence their well-being. They are committed to meaningful change and are receptive to exploring insights.
Amy practices an integrative therapeutic style that blends traditional clinical methods with experiential, somatic, and ecological frameworks. Drawing from attachment theory, polyvagal principles, and systems thinking, her work supports clients in restoring nervous system regulation, cultivating emotional resilience, and fostering relational balance
