Here to help you gain new perspectives and begin to thrive again. I believe in therapy that is compassionate, approachable, and collaborative. That means that I don’t show up to this process believing I know “more” or “better,” but rather, am a partner with you on this journey: offering new perspectives and unconditional support to help you begin to thrive again
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that, in many ways, I’m just like you: another human living in this world (that’s often hard to live in) who has the professional training and experience (over 12 years!) to support you. I’ll meet you where you are with compassion, offering new perspectives and strategies that can lead to meaningful change.
Therapy is an opportunity to begin looking at things differently and to respond differently. In addition to exploring the deeper roots behind your difficulties, we’ll also look at ways to help you become more aware of your brain and body’s reactions to stress. Using things like mindfulness, breathing & grounding exercises, and other strategies, you’ll also learn practical ways to decrease your reactions right there in the moment. You’ll learn to start giving attention to your strengths and challenge negativity. You’ll be back in the driver’s seat of your life
My clients are driven, open-minded adults who have accomplished a lot in their lives or are working hard toward accomplishing their goals, but still struggle with feelings of self-doubt or uncertainty. They’re looking for a genuine connection with a therapist who “gets” it—someone they don’t have to overly explain themselves to. I often work with those struggling to manage anxiety, women and parents seeking support.

While the word mindfulness can bring up a lot of preconceived concepts or images, at its core, mindfulness is simply about learning how to ground yourself in the present moment. Through breathing or grounding exercises, new self-care routines, and other means, you can learn how to tune into the messages your body is sending you, respond in slower, more intentional ways, and combat feelings of anxiety, disconnection, and self-doubt.
I assist individuals in identifying how their thoughts and/ or behaviors may no longer serve their current needs and guide them in exploring alternative perspectives or frameworks to make adjustments needed to improve their overall wellness
In my work with individuals I emphasize the importance of having compassion for ourselves in order to move through the challenges we're experiencing.
I am dedicated to providing my clients a supportive and compassionate space to explore their inner thoughts and feelings without judgement.
