Hi, I’m a licensed therapist in Washington, Montana, and Florida, and I truly believe caring for your mental health is one of the most important steps toward a steady, fulfilling life. Reaching out isn’t easy, so I’m really glad you’re here. I focus on supporting adults who are looking to expand their ways of coping and understand themselves better. My style is warm, curious, and collaborative—I use proven approaches while also trusting intuition to help you build skills and reconnect with your strengths. You can expect empathy, compassion, and a space where you can show up as your full self.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your experiences, what’s been weighing on you, and what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and make space for you to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll create goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My goal is to build a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and hopeful about what’s ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take a warm, practical, and collaborative approach to therapy. I’m trained in CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based stress reduction, and I use these proven tools to help you build skills that work in real life. I focus on supporting people with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and autism. Together, we set clear goals and practice everyday strategies to improve mood, focus, relationships, and overall functioning. My aim is to help you feel more confident, capable, and in control of your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults seeking a supportive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I work with a diverse range of individuals, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, and those who are neurodivergent or autistic. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, but are open to exploring their experiences and building new ways of coping. They value a collaborative approach where they feel heard, respected, and accepted as they are. Whether they’re looking to better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop practical coping skills, or take steps toward a more fulfilling and values-driven life, they are ready to engage in the process of growth. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, building on strengths, and making changes that positively impact their daily lives in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I’ve been using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice for the past 10 years to help clients build psychological flexibility and create meaningful, values-driven lives. ACT focuses on learning how to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than fighting against them, while committing to actions that align with what matters most to you. In our work together, I’ll guide you in developing a sense of “willingness” to experience discomfort without letting it control your choices. In sessions, I use experiential exercises, metaphors, and mindfulness techniques to help you observe your thoughts without judgment and reduce the struggle with them. We’ll also identify your core values and create a clear, practical plan for moving toward them—breaking larger goals into small, achievable steps. This approach helps you make positive, lasting changes, even when things feel uncomfortable, so you can live a more intentional and fulfilling life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice for the past 15 years, and it’s one of the most well-researched, evidence-based approaches for improving mental health. CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, so you can begin to recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. In our work together, we’ll build practical coping skills, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and develop tools you can use in your daily life. My goal is to help you create a more balanced and productive relationship with your thoughts—so they feel less overwhelming and more manageable, allowing you to move through life with greater clarity and confidence.

Humanistic

I’ve been using Humanistic therapy in my practice for the past 15 years as a client-centered, non-directive approach that honors your unique experience and inner capacity for growth. This approach focuses on the “here and now,” creating space for you to lead sessions in a way that feels most meaningful, while working toward greater self-awareness and self-actualization. In our work together, I prioritize building a safe, supportive environment through active listening, deep empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I genuinely strive to understand the world from your perspective, reflecting and paraphrasing your thoughts and feelings to help you gain clarity and insight into your emotional experience. By maintaining a non-judgmental, accepting, and caring presence, my goal is to help you strengthen self-acceptance, build self-worth, and feel more confident in navigating your life authentically.

Supportive

I’ve been using Supportive Therapy in my practice for the past 15 years as a collaborative, present-focused approach designed to help clients feel stabilized, understood, and better equipped to manage life’s challenges. This approach emphasizes validation, reassurance, and practical coping strategies, with sessions that are conversational, empathetic, and focused on strengthening what’s already working rather than dismantling defenses. In our work together, I prioritize active listening and validation, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly share your experiences. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, while also reinforcing your strengths, encouraging progress, and supporting self-esteem. I incorporate psychoeducation to help you better understand your mental health, along with practical tools for managing symptoms and navigating daily stressors. We’ll also work on problem-solving and reframing challenges in more manageable, adaptive ways, while supporting and strengthening healthy coping strategies you already use. I provide structure and gentle guidance in sessions to help you feel grounded and supported, with the goal of helping you feel more confident, capable, and steady in your day-to-day life.
