New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 10 years of experience working with adults in clinical, school-based, and telehealth settings. I support individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is supportive and strengths-based, and when clients desire, I thoughtfully integrate spirituality as a resource for coping, meaning, and emotional well-being overall.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your concerns, goals, and background, and we will begin identifying what you would like to work on together. The session is collaborative and paced to your comfort level, with an emphasis on creating a supportive and respectful environment. By the end of the session, we will discuss next steps and begin developing a plan that supports your goals. When desired, space is available to explore spirituality or faith as part of the therapeutic process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to provide a supportive, grounded therapeutic space where clients feel heard and respected. With over 10 years of experience across clinical, school-based, and telehealth settings, I am skilled at helping clients clarify their concerns, build coping skills, and make steady, meaningful progress toward their goals. I value thoughtful, strengths-based work and adapt my approach to each client’s needs, pacing therapy in a way that feels safe and manageable. When appropriate and client-led, I am also able to integrate spirituality as a supportive resource in the therapeutic process.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to work with adults and couples who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and day-to-day stress. My ideal clients are open to self-reflection, motivated to develop coping skills, and interested in gaining insight and practical tools to improve emotional well-being and quality of life. I work especially well with individuals who value a supportive, respectful therapeutic relationship and are looking for steady, meaningful progress rather than quick fixes, and when desired, welcome the thoughtful integration of spirituality as a source of meaning and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress. Together, we work on developing practical coping strategies, increasing self-awareness, and building skills that support emotional well-being and daily functioning.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing skills, resilience, and personal resources. Therapy focuses on empowering clients, increasing self-confidence, and using individual strengths to support emotional well-being and meaningful change.
Christian Counseling
When clients desire, I integrate Christian faith and values into therapy in a respectful and client-led way. This may include exploring how faith, spirituality, and personal beliefs support coping, meaning, and emotional well-being, alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Couples Counseling
I work with couples who are seeking to improve communication, strengthen understanding, and navigate relationship challenges. My approach is supportive and goal-oriented, helping couples develop healthier interaction patterns and practical skills, while referring out when more specialized couples treatment is needed.
