I am a warm and energetic therapist who believes in a holistic path to growth and balance for all. I believe healing involves the whole person-mind, body, and spirit-and I love helping people discover their strengths, reconnect with themselves, and find more balance in daily life. Whether that is in the therapist office, on the basketball court and/or other sports arenas for youth.
In our sessions, you can expect to gain practical tools and strategies for navigating challenges, a deeper understanding of your thoughts and emotions, and greater confidence in your ability to cope and grow. By drawing from an eclectic mix of approaches-including CBT, CPT, DBT, and other integrative methods-I tailer therapy to your unique needs and goals. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and better equipped to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.
As a therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel genuinely seen and understood. I bring warmth, energy, and authenticity into my sessions, allowing clients to feel comfortable exploring even the most difficult emotions. My eclectic approach—drawing from CBT, CPT, DBT, and other evidence-based and holistic methods—enables me to tailor therapy to the unique needs and goals of each individual or family I work with. What makes my practice unique is my balance of structure and empathy: I help clients build practical coping skills while also encouraging deep emotional healing and self-discovery. My experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship struggles, trauma, ADHD, grief, and reunification challenges has taught me the value of patience, flexibility, and collaboration. I see therapy as both a place for growth and reconnection—with oneself and with others—and I’m deeply committed to helping clients find clarity, balance, and renewed purpose in their lives.
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, families, soldiers, and athletes navigating personal and family challenges but ready for support in creating positive change. Many come to therapy seeking help with relationships, ADHD, Depression, PTSD, family court/DFAC mandated reunification cases and other needs. I am here for you who fell stuck, overwhelmed, and/or uncertain, yet you carry the hope of building stronger connections for healing. As your therapist you will have a safe space to be heard/understood while learning practical tools to manage struggles, improve communication, and foster resilience where you are with clarity. Mr. Williams gave some good general advice for my partner and I, but he was late every session—even the first one & always was distracted. He also often mentioned some red light green light exercise that he never expounded upon. In our 1st session, we essentially *slowly* redid our assessment we already turned in and didn’t really get into the meat of things until the 2nd one so it felt like a waste. We also expected a full assessment following that 1st session’s ~reassessment~ and never got it

What stood out for me working with Clifton is his life experience and the fact that he is married . His attentiveness made it easy to share what I’m currently dealing with in my life . I also appreciated his response to me sharing my thoughts. These are some of the qualities I like to see in a therapist.

I loved and appreciated his ability to see both sides. I left our session feeling empowered and hopeful. He will be my go to for couple counseling if needed in the future.
