About me

I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over three years of experience helping individuals navigate a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. I work with people facing trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood. My approach is grounded in warmth, patience, and genuine connection. I believe that healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore our stories and strong enough to rewrite them. Using evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients identify patterns, shift their mindset, and develop practical tools for meaningful, lasting change. I take great care in listening to my clients’ unique experiences and needs. Together, we work to uncover what’s holding you back, strengthen your emotional resilience, and reconnect with your values. My goal is to support you in building a life that feels intentional, empowered, and aligned with who you truly are.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my main goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard—without pressure or judgment. We'll take time to talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re struggling with, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll ask questions to get to know you better—your background, your current challenges, and any goals or concerns you’d like to explore. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed or unsure of where to start, and that’s completely okay. I’ll guide the conversation at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also talk briefly about how I work—what therapy with me tends to look like—and discuss whether CBT, Narrative Therapy, or DBT-informed strategies might be helpful based on your needs. By the end of our session, we’ll begin identifying what you want to work on, and you’ll leave with a sense of direction and a clearer understanding of how we can move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is that I don’t just understand emotional pain from a clinical perspective — I’ve lived through it. I’ve overcome a wide range of personal traumas, along with my own battles with depression and anxiety. What helped me through those dark seasons was tapping into my faith, holding onto hope, and embracing the lessons that came with healing. These experiences didn’t break me — they shaped me into someone who can sit with others in their pain and offer genuine empathy, strength, and perspective. Because of my journey, I bring more than just tools and techniques into the therapy room — I bring heart, resilience, and a deep belief in your ability to grow. I know how hard it is to keep going when life feels heavy, and I’m here to walk with you through it. My desire to help others isn’t just professional — it’s personal. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I’m committed to helping you build a life that reflects your strength, your truth, and your purpose.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—people who are ready to do the inner work but may not know where to start. Many of the people I work with struggle with low self-worth, persistent negative thoughts, emotional reactivity, or difficulty setting boundaries in relationships. They may be going through a breakup, grieving a loss, navigating trauma, or simply trying to find clarity in a season of change. If you’re someone who wants to better understand your patterns, shift your mindset, and create a more intentional life, we might be a good fit. Whether you're carrying the weight of your past or feeling overwhelmed by your present, I'm here to help you untangle those experiences and build a future that feels more aligned with who you really are.
