LCSW, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi! My name is Jessica. I feel truly grateful that you’ve taken the time to visit my page and learn more about my work as you determine if we would be a good fit together to begin your therapeutic journey toward healing and growth. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Indiana, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to support individuals on their path to wellness. I have over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Saint Francis and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and elderly who are navigating challenges related to substance use, relationship difficulties, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, stress management, and anger management. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey of healing and personal growth.
In our first session, I focus on building rapport and taking the time to hear your story. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up, knowing that beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating. My goal is to foster a warm, trusting space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to share openly as we work together toward your personal goals.
What sets my therapeutic approach apart is my commitment to walking alongside clients in a collaborative, supportive way. I create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. My approach blends warmth, authenticity, and evidence-based methods to foster meaningful growth, healing, and lasting change.
I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of challenges, including substance use, relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, and anger management. My goal is to help clients build resilience and develop healthier ways to cope and grow.
I integrate Motivational Interviewing (MI) into my practice to create a collaborative, person-centered environment that empowers clients to overcome ambivalence and build motivation for meaningful change.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that interfere with their well-being and recovery.
I integrate EMDR therapy to support clients in safely processing distressing memories, reducing emotional intensity, and fostering emotional healing and resilience.
