New to Grow
Hi, I’m Katie, a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping women navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, motherhood, and the many demands of daily life. I believe healing happens within a safe, supportive relationship where you feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Christian Counseling when desired. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater hope, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to help you feel comfortable from the very beginning. During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to counseling, and exploring your goals for therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story at your own pace, ask questions, and discuss any concerns you may have about the counseling process. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels right for you and begin taking meaningful steps toward the changes you hope to make.
Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood while also helping you move toward meaningful change. I balance compassion with practical guidance, offering encouragement while gently challenging unhelpful patterns when needed. As a wife, mother, and counselor, I understand many of the real-life pressures that women face while balancing relationships, family, work, and personal well-being. My goal is to meet you where you are, build on your strengths, and equip you with practical tools that help you feel more confident, resilient, and hopeful in your daily life.
I work best with adult women who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, motherhood, pregnancy, and postpartum concerns, self-esteem struggles, or feelings of being overwhelmed. Many of my clients are balancing multiple responsibilities and are seeking greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can process their experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward meaningful growth. For those who desire it, I am also happy to incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles into the counseling process.

Eclectic
I believe counseling should be tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I use an eclectic approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Christian Counseling when desired. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful goals for growth and healing. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. For clients who desire it, I am also happy to incorporate faith-based perspectives into the counseling process.
