New to Grow
As a licensed therapist of over 15 years, I view my role as guiding individuals along a journey of self-discovery and growth. I have a passion for helping people conquer their past-trauma, family issues, personal struggles-and move into a free and peaceful future. I assist people in gaining insight into their issues and finding solutions to their problems by providing direction, encouragement, support, and hope.
The process will begin with building rapport and providing a safe environment for the expression of emotions.
My style is direct while empathetic and supportive. I want my clients to be informed of and involved in the whole therapeutic process. I am a strong and versatile counselor who has a natural ability to connect with a wide range of clients, making the process endlessly smooth.
My ideal client is an adult who is motivated toward personal growth and meaningful, healthy change. They may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, or relationship stress, and are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a deeper way. They are willing to engage in the therapeutic process, practice new skills, and work collaboratively toward their goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational approach in my clinical work. CBT is an evidence-based, structured, and goal-oriented form of therapy that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop healthier, more adaptive ways of responding to life’s challenges. In my practice, I integrate CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and skill-building exercises to support clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions. I tailor interventions to each individual, ensuring that strategies feel practical, relevant, and sustainable in their daily lives. I also emphasize collaboration and psychoeducation, helping clients understand how their thought patterns influence their emotional experiences. By building awareness and practicing new skills both in and outside of sessions, clients are empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes. While CBT is a core component of my work, I often integrate it with other approaches to provide holistic, client-centered care that aligns with each person’s unique needs and goals.
