New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of New York and Idaho. I have 27 yrs of experience working with clients of all ages, religions, sexual orientations, economic levels, cultural identities, and races. I've helped many of my clients with addressing problems of domestic violence, maternal mental/physical health, foster care, marital and relationship issues, work stress, and medical stress.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I utilize real life examples to help create changes in your life. I meet you where you are—with empathy, curiosity, and respect for your unique journey. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all; we’ll work together to identify your goals and move at a pace that feels right for you. I believe that small, consistent steps can lead to profound transformation.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is being relatable to my clients. I'm understanding of what many are going through, as I too, have experienced problems in my life. And just as I was able to overcome them, I can guide my clients to do the same. I mainly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and mindfulness, amongst other modalities, to teach them the skills and techniques that can change their negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to more positive ones.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I believe that healing begins with a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard and understood. Whether you’re having anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to help you tap into your own strengths while offering practical tools and compassionate guidance. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward greater balance and well-being, I’d be honored to support you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I teach my clients various skills/techniques that help them change their negative thoughts/behaviors/feelings to more positive ones.
