New to Grow
One of my goals as a therapist is to create a meaningful connection and a comfortable, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether you’re considering making an important change or simply need space to reflect, I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, one built on trust, respect, and genuine understanding. I am a licensed therapist and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 11 years of experience helping clients navigate life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, and challenges with motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. My work is grounded in person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches, drawing on the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing when supported with empathy and practical tools. I specialize in supporting caregivers, disabled individuals, and people adjusting to new life circumstances, but I also work with anyone seeking greater balance and fulfillment. In our sessions, you’ll find a space where your story is valued and your goals guide the process. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you whether that’s improving relationships, setting boundaries, rebuilding confidence, or redefining purpose after change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. I strive to help each client move toward a stronger sense of self-trust and resilience, so they can live more authentically and intentionally.
Can you imagine a life where you are at peace with your feelings, able to make good decisions, and in better control of your reactions? What would it be like to no longer feel overwhelmed by stress or defeated by your emotions? When overwhelming emotions take hold, your work, relationships, and sense of self can suffer, keeping you from enjoying the life you know you could have. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share your goals, what’s been challenging, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out, it’s simply a space for honesty, curiosity, and connection. I’ll explain my approach, answer any questions, and together we’ll begin identifying the areas you’d like to focus on most. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of how therapy can help you move toward balance, healing, and self-trust.
My greatest strengths as a therapist come from my ability to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood. I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work, allowing me to connect deeply with people navigating complex emotions, identity, or change. I blend person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused approaches, helping clients explore their experiences while also developing practical tools for everyday life. My background as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor adds a unique perspective for those adjusting to disability, caregiving roles, or major life transitions. Clients often tell me they appreciate my authenticity, compassion, and ability to help them find clarity and confidence even in difficult moments. My goal is to help you uncover your own strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build the self-trust needed to create lasting growth and balance.
I work with individuals who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, or ongoing stress and want to feel more grounded and confident in themselves. Many of my clients are caregivers, disabled individuals, or people adjusting to major changes who are learning how to balance their needs while supporting others. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapyjust a willingness to explore what’s working, what’s not, and what you want to change. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, values, and goals to help you find clarity, healing, and renewed purpose in your life.
I use a person-centered approach, meaning you are the expert on your own life. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Together, we focus on your strengths, values, and goals to help you build insight, confidence, and self-trust. This approach empowers you to move forward in ways that feel authentic and right for you.
CBT helps you identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that affect your emotions and behaviors. We work together to build practical tools for managing stress, improving mood, and creating lasting change in daily life.
This approach centers on what’s working and what’s possible rather than what’s wrong. We set small, realistic goals and build on your existing strengths to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
In narrative therapy, we look at your life as a story you have the power to shape. Together, we explore how experiences, systems, and language have influenced your story and how you can reclaim your voice and rewrite it in a way that reflects your strengths and values.
