Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. I received my Masters degree from American International College and I have been practicing for 7 years. I work with adults of varying ages and life stages to help them learn to cope with and process past and present unresolved issues that are preventing them from moving forward with their lives.
In our first session together, we'll discuss what is is that you feel you need help with and what you are hoping to gain from therapy so we can outline some initial goals for your treatment.
I want to be a guide to help my clients explore their unresolved issues and gain a more positive and compassionate perspective on themselves and their struggles. Let's have a conversation and get to know you, together!
I enjoy working with adults of varying ages and life stages, especially young adults. I want to work with clients who are not only consistent with attendance and participation, but who are open to exploring themselves and making the necessary changes to meet their desired goals.
A client once told me that I was "the voice in his head telling him to be kinder to himself" and that is what I strive to be for my clients until they can do so themselves. I utilize a combination of treatment methods and therapeutic techniques, as well as kindness, compassion, and curiosity to help my clients make peace with the past and look toward a better future for themselves, in whatever way that may look like.
