I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 16 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are struggling with the impact of past experiences, facing current difficulties, or preparing for future life stressors, therapy can provide a supportive space to gain insight, build resilience, and move toward healthier outcomes. Over the past 11 years in private practice, I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including mood disorders, trauma, relationship and marriage issues, and faith-based or Christian counseling needs. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel supported as you work toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. During this intake session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, any current challenges or concerns you may be experiencing, and important aspects of your personal history. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, stressors, and any factors that may be contributing to the difficulties you are facing. This session also gives you the chance to ask questions, share your goals for therapy, and explore how we can work together to support your growth and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my ability to build genuine, meaningful connections with my clients. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth, healing, and lasting change. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. Through this collaborative relationship, clients are often able to gain insight, build confidence, and make the meaningful changes they are seeking in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Therapist will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help the individuals/couples identify negative thought patterns, emotional triggers, and communication behaviors that contribute to conflict within the environment or the relationship. Therapist will assist clients in recognizing how misaligned or maladaptive thoughts influence emotional reactions and interactions creating conflict within oneself, ones environment or with one another. Through CBT interventions, clients will practice reframing unhelpful thinking patterns, improving communication skills, and developing healthier coping strategies to reduce conflict escalation and strengthen problem-solving abilities.

Couples Counseling

Therapist will provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where both partners feel heard, respected, and validated. Sessions will focus on improving communication, increasing emotional awareness, and helping the couple identify unhealthy interaction patterns that contribute to conflict. Therapist will guide the couple in developing healthier coping skills, rebuilding trust, strengthening problem-solving abilities, and fostering mutual understanding to improve overall relationship functioning
