New to Grow
Greetings!! My name is Katrina Davis-Hicks, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. Although this is my specialty, I am trained to provide psychotherapy services for a variety of services including: grief, couples, family, individual, group, and marriage counseling. I have experience working with a multitude of different issues ranging from depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, trauma, career counseling, coaching, anger management, work-life issues/balance, etc. I feel that the client is the expert of their lives and my duty is to provide unbiased, and non-judgmental support. I offer a laid back approach in order to foster a peaceful therapeutic environment.
My first session with a new client is a time in which we can get to know each other. I treat this session as a conversation to reduce stress and anxiety.
I am a down-to-earth provider who believes in holding clients accountable in order for them to be successful. Accountability is important for clients to meet their goals and this is done in the most caring way. I love to laugh with my clients and help them to feel at ease.
My ideal clients are anyone that is looking for a way to explore their issues and concerns through a laid back and supportive experience. This is a non-judgmental space. Therapeutic services have a holistic approach and encourages self-efficacy, confidence, relaxation, and assists the client with unlimited support throughout the change process. We assist clients with services that allow them to live their lives to the full and abundantly!!
