New to Grow
If you are looking for an interactive, honest, and approachable therapist, welcome. I bring humor and real-world warmth to our sessions, and I love working with clients who are ready to engage and do the work to improve their lives. Together, we'll build a non-judgmental, collaborative dialogue focused on helping you heal, work on goals and grow at your own pace. We will set clear goals together, but we will also adapt as your needs shift. I am here to partner with you, talk with you and find read solutions.
In our first meeting, we will focus on building a comfortable, interactive partnership. I'll ask questions to get a clear picture of your current situation, and we will talk honestly about what is and isn't working in your life right now. By the end of the first session, we will have a baseline understanding of your goals-knowing they can always shift as we go. My priority is to make sure you feel heard, respected and completely comfortable as we decide on the best way to move forward together.
I like to create a space where a client feels heard, respected and accepted. I do not just sit and listen or am I overly directive. I believe in a collaborative approach that balances listening, thoughtful challenge but only if it serves the goals of the patient. I give honest feedback and I explore the clients thoughts and experiences in greater depth. I am comfortable having direct conversations when needed. My style is warm , authentic and non-judgement.
I am best positioned to serve persons ages 18-100+. My ideal client would be those who are seeking a supportive, compassionate space while also being open to honest feedback, self-reflection, and meaningful person growth. I want to work collaboratively with my patients to help build on their strengths, develop coping strategies that are effective and create lasting change. The client can be dealing with life stressors, Major transitions, medical issues, SUD and work-related stress.
