I’m a therapist who finds deep meaning in supporting adults, especially those navigating neurodivergence and trauma, who are working to reconnect with themselves and restore emotional and relational balance. Many of my clients experience distress related to masking, sensory sensitivity, executive dysfunction, and feeling unseen in environments that weren’t designed with their neurotype or lived experiences in mind. Others carry the weight of unresolved trauma, grief, or emotional overwhelm that continues to shape how they relate to themselves and others. My approach blends evidence-based practices with creative, individualized strategies that honor your unique story, values, and goals. Together, we’ll explore the emotional patterns and internal narratives that may be keeping you stuck. I help clients uncover buried emotions, shift unhelpful thought habits, and build new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them. Whether you're navigating burnout, trauma recovery, identity exploration, or relational challenges, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up as you are. We’ll work toward reducing self-criticism, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening communication, so you can feel more aligned, empowered, and connected in all areas of life. Currently accepting adult individual session appointments.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is our opportunity to become better acquainted. Typically, this time is devoted to identifying current levels of emotional distress, exploring personal background information related to culture, family, relationship dynamics, and exposure to adverse or trauma-related experiences. Clients can anticipate a conversational style of interaction with questions being exchanged between the therapist and client. The primary focus of the first session is to alleviate any initial discomfort, build rapport, understand current stressors, and set future therapeutic goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy The way one defines their experiences, or internal language, affects emotional responses. By restructuring internal dialogue and addressing hidden assumptions and self-doubt through the reformation of internal "words," combined with holistic techniques, one can foster a profound sense of self-awareness. Skills that promote an understanding of our thought processes and how these thoughts shape our emotional experiences enable clients to recognize and alter ingrained negative automatic thoughts into a congruent, empowered internal experience.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Adults aiming to comprehend the basis of their emotional turmoil may find that exploring the origins of their thought patterns and perceptions can act as a catalyst for understanding the causes of their struggles with relationships or emotional distress. By examining their inconsistent internal dialogues, I help individuals become aware of outdated agreements and perceptions, encouraging them to develop a framework that aligns with their personal values and integrity.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapeutic strategies encourage the observation of one's thoughts and feelings, cultivating a nonjudgmental awareness of the present moment, including sensations, thoughts, bodily states, consciousness, and the environment. This method promotes openness, curiosity, and acceptance. These strategies assist in developing observational practices, identifying negative internal dialogues, recognizing maladaptive behavioral responses to others' projected assumptions, and reevaluating agreements with these projections. Recognizing the unnecessary acceptance of established language and beliefs helps in transforming unhealthy beliefs and reactions into those that reflect reality-based thoughts and behaviors..
Jungian
Jungian theory strategies delve into the resurgence of childhood narratives within contemporary relationship themes and behaviors. Jungian Shadow work aids in recognizing maladaptive behavioral and emotional patterns contributing to emotional distress. This Shadow work process intertwines past internal dialogues with ongoing individuation efforts, fostering an understanding of one's current adult reality, which is instrumental in forming positive interactions and setting boundaries that support healthy relational dynamics, thus alleviating emotional distress originating from childhood experiences.

Kristine stood out to me because of her specialty in ADHD. I hoped she could help me better understand and support my two children. What I quickly realized, though, was that I needed much more than that—and she recognized it right away. She has been a beacon of hope as I worked through the trauma I had experienced. I never believed I would come out the other side, but with her guidance, I not only survived it—I worked through it. Today, I can honestly say I am the happiest I’ve ever been.

Kristine is as honest and open as she is understanding. Our conversations have helped me to understand I'm not alone, that there are ways forward.

Kristine is great. She specializes in adults with ADHD, which is perfect for me, but she's so insightful in a general sense. She's been a huge help through a tough time in my life, and I am very grateful to have her as my therapist.
