New to Grow
We live in a hectic and chaotic world, particularly now. Sometimes the tools we have just stop cutting it. Everything is suddenly a struggle. You may have been to a bunch of therapists and it didn't work. You may never have been to therapy and you just want to figure out how to function in life better. You’re not alone, you’re not “crazy”. I’m here to help .I'm a non binary, queer, AuDHD clinician who practices from a sex positive, trauma informed perspective and comes with an impressive list of trainings and certifications, but more importantly, I'm a regular human who's here to connect with you on a genuine and authentic level.
Our first session together is a time for learning. I look at it as the beginning of understanding what makes you you. I aim to learn about those “edge pieces of your puzzle” of who you are. We build the foundation of my understanding of who you are, why you’re here, and what you’re aiming to get out of our work together.
I believe that the therapeutic modalities I use are very effective, but even more I believe in adapting them to fit you, the client, not the client to the modality. Therapy with me is a very human process and I am a human sitting with you in this process.
EMDR
EMDR uses the power of your own brain to help with healing! I integrate other modalities with the EMDR I practice to best support my clients.
Attachment-based
Understanding the bases for our current and past relationships and how we can understand our patterns and potentially change them is incredibly useful and important to healing.
Gender-affirming therapy
As a non binary clinician myself I strongly support clients in wherever they are in there gender journey and supporting you in your identity.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Parts work help us develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and is very useful in terms of trauma and other healing work.
Sex Therapy
I support clients of alternative relationship styles and those involved in kink and bdsm. I also support survivors of trauma reconnect to healthy sexuality.
