New to Grow
I specialize in the treatment of trauma. I also find gratitude to helping others navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, communication, relationship issues, and family issues. I also enjoy working with parents. I am EMDR an IFS trained. If you are someone struggling with the above, or you are looking to manage stress in other areas of your life I am here to help!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be a "get to know each other" meeting. We will also work on goals for treatment. After this we will start getting creative in meeting those goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I pride myself on setting a tone for open, honest and respectful communication. My self and other clients find that my working atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. I am here to walk alongside you in your healing journey. You are always in the driver's seat, and I have a few maps we can use to get to your desired destination.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with parents and those who care really ready to start actively making changes.
EMDR
I use EMDR to help clients process and reduce distress from traumatic or upsetting memories through guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, while recalling those experiences.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use IFS to help clients understand and heal their inner “parts” by fostering self-compassion and resolving emotional conflicts that stem from past experiences.
Relational
I use Relational therapy to improve emotional awareness and strengthen relationships by exploring patterns of connection, boundaries, and communication shaped by past and present interactions.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients accept difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to behaviors that align with their values and improve psychological flexibility.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence and strengthen their own motivation for change through collaborative, nonjudgmental conversation.
