I’m great at listening and providing space for whatever a person needs to bring to session. My passion is in trauma work and I have spent my 11 years in the field with a focus on trauma-informed care. I have worked with people of all ages and genders and particularly enjoy helping clients build self-esteem, find new ways to think about issues, and build healthy boundaries in their relationships.
Our first session will include some questions about your history and experience with mental health treatment. We'll spend the first session getting to know each other and figuring out what areas you would like to focus in on.
Clients have frequently described me as being a "chill therapist." I am able to be that grounded presence in the room when everything else may feel chaotic. I do well with providing alternative perspectives or levity when life circumstances feel heavy. I love to use humor throughout therapy! Healing can look many different ways.
Usually clients will come to me when they are noticing the effects of trauma on their lives. They might notice themselves replaying an event over and over in their head. They might find themselves cycling through trauma symptoms and feel ready to get off the ride. Sometimes they don’t have words for the experience they’re having and just want to sit in that with somebody. Come as you are.

I have been trained in CPT for 5 years. I utilize CPT for clients who would benefit from a more structured therapy to treat trauma. I find it can be a helpful method to use to help clients put words to their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I am EMDR trained and utilize this type of therapy with clients who have experienced trauma. It can also be used for other mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and grief.
I have 10 years of experience working with trauma and providing trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual abuse/assault and domestic violence.
I have over 10 years of experience utilizing CBT with clients. It’s a great way to help identify unhelpful thinking and find ways to think differently.
