(she/her)
I have always had a passion for helping people find their voice and their inner strengths. My approach to therapy looks at the whole person in regards to their physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual selves. I practice a strengths- based and mindfulness approach with a focus on meeting the client where they are in the moment. I see a wide range of clients from all walks of life, experiences and age. It is a privilege to help clients with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and transitional issues. As a former attorney, I enjoy working with those in the legal field. I am a cancer survivor and hope to help others in their long term illness or cancer journeys. My hope is to help others find their voice and feel empowered. Through warmth, compassion and empathy, I like to create a safe place for clients to begin a transformative journey in finding their voices and their strengths.
In our first session we will do a quick overview of what to expect with therapy, review your goals and expectation as well as review duties of confidentiality and consent. My style is very conversational and I do my best to put you at ease as I understand starting therapy can be difficult. I look forward to working with you.
My biggest strength is meeting clients where they are with empathy and compassion. Based on my own life challenges, I can offer true understanding about health challenges, reproductive challenges, grief and loss.

in my work, I draw from a relational approach, which means I see the therapeutic relationship as a key agent of healing and insight. I believe that how we relate to others and ourselves is shaped by past experiences, and often recreated in the present. By building a safe and authentic connection, I help clients explore patterns, repair relational wounds, and develop more secure ways to be in the world.
I draw from CBT to gently explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. I support clients in recognizing unhelpful patterns and building practical tools for change, helping them feel more empowered and in control.
I approach grief work with compassion and respect for each person's unique process. Having experienced significant loss myself, I understand how grief can feel isolating and overwhelming. I offer a warm, supportive space where clients can explore their pain, honor their loss, and slowly begin to integrate healing at their own pace.
My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, which means I prioritize safety, trust, and choice in the therapeutic relationship. I recognize the impact trauma can have on the mind and body, and I work at a pace that honors each client's readiness, resilience, and unique story.
