Clinical areas of interest include Mindful Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, with a commitment to promoting emotional well-being. Counseling services utilize a variety of counseling techniques including Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a seasoned practitioner, Rebecca Gay Baldwin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, with multiple qualifications. Early in her career, Gay served low-income individuals and families in the Appalachian areas of the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Gay held certifications with DBHDD, including providing services as a Clinical Evaluator and Treatment Provider for nine years, and most recently earned her CMAC certification with GACA. Gay serves as a DUI Instructor teaching a research-based curriculum from Prime for Life, since 2009, providing education to individuals legally charged with Driving Under the Influence or Possession of an illegal substance in the state of Georgia.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) is evidenced-based therapy is mindfulness based behavioral therapy, emphasizes on symptom reduction by the exploration of values, acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion to treat depression, workplace stress, stress management, anxiety, and PTSD.
