Hello! My passion and experience is assisting those who have experienced issues such as childhood trauma, domestic violence/ abuse and the issues related to this such PTSD, depression, anxiety and relationship matters. Know that as we embark on this difficult process, we will be working together in a safe and comfortable space to focus on your challenges. I am the person to whom you can speak openly about your experiences, emotions and issues you may never have felt ready to deal with and who isn't shocked by what I hear. I would be honored to work with you on your journey toward change. It takes courage to take those first steps. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I empower survivors of trauma to address and work through those negative experiences in order to move forward with their lives.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My therapy style is client-centered and interactive. Although I take trauma-work very seriously, occasionally I believe the use of humor when appropriate assists in the healing process. My approach is eclectic combining primarily RET, CBT, DBT also psychodynamic, motivational interviewing and reality therapy as needed. I focus on the whole person in order for treatment to be successful. I encourage self-care and journaling between sessions to keep our work moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am always looking for ways to improve my skills related to trauma work in order to provide the best sessions tailored to your needs.
