New to Grow
At Forest Path Therapy Group, my work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling understood. You don’t need to have the “right words,” a clear plan, or everything neatly sorted out before you start therapy. You can show up exactly as you are — overwhelmed, hopeful, uncertain, exhausted, curious — and we’ll begin from there. I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. My approach is trauma‑informed, relational, and grounded in evidence‑based practices. I focus on creating a space that feels steady, compassionate, and attuned to your needs, while also offering structure and guidance when you want it. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, make sense of your experiences, and build tools that help you move forward with clarity and confidence. I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your lived experience; I bring clinical expertise and a calm, grounded presence. We work side‑by‑side — not from a place of judgment or pressure, but from a shared commitment to your growth. Whether you’re taking your first step into therapy or returning after time away, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you toward where you want to be. I bring 6 years of experience working in community mental health with children, adolescents, and adult. Clients often describe me as calm, steady, and deeply collaborative. I believe people heal in relationships where they feel understood, respected, and empowered. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. You just have to show up as you are.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a conversation — a chance to get to know each other, and explore what brings you here.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a therapist include creating a calm, grounded space where you can show up exactly as you are. I bring a trauma‑informed, evidence‑based approach, a steady presence, and a deep respect for your lived experience. Clients often tell me they feel understood, supported, and able to move at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure how to move forward. You might be carrying old wounds that still shape your present, or you may be facing a transition or experience that feels heavier than you expected. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Integrative
My integrative style allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs. Depending on what you’re navigating, we might explore patterns shaped by past experiences, build new coping strategies, strengthen your sense of identity, or work toward concrete solutions that help you feel more grounded in daily life. I work from a trauma‑informed, culturally responsive lens, recognizing the many ways identity, environment, and lived experience shape how we move through the world. I hold space for complexity — and I help you make sense of it without judgment.
