Feeling anxious, insecure, or inadequate? Does the thought of socializing feel overwhelming yet you have pangs of loneliness? Are you newly single, dating, considering divorce, or struggling with anything relationship related? Perhaps you are just really hard on yourself! I may be the person to speak with! Whether the relationship is with yourself or others, my goal is to help you experience love and acceptance so you may finally have the peace, joy, and fulfillment you're seeking. Constantly replaying conversations in your mind, feeling left out, and negatively evaluating yourself against others is draining, so it's time to stop. I'll provide real tools, strategies, and coping skills (with a compassionate ear) to help you move from old ways of thinking, feeling, and doing to new-and-improved ways. Rosie Via is both a licensed therapist and a professional coach. She sees clients remotely (therapy in PA & VA and coaching worldwide,) and specializes in helping people with anxiety and all things relationship-related (yet often relational work is done individually because it all starts with the self!) Rosie's typical client is an adult male or female who feels disconnected relationally or is socially anxious, uncertain, or emotionally volatile. They see themselves as less important, less loveable, or less successful than their peers. They feel lonely, left out, different, and discouraged. And they don't know why they feel empty inside when there are people all around them. Rosie's clients are single, riding the (dreadful) dating roller-coaster, struggling with dull or chaotic marriages, divorced, considering divorce, cheating, recovering from cheating, or adjusting to the loss of a loved one (or beloved pet!) They repeat the same mistakes, often in a quest for love, yet what they are looking for eludes them. "Why?" they ask. Rosie’s clients often report replaying conversations over-and-over again in their minds, second-guessing themselves and their choices, and wanting more love, fun, and inner calm in their lives. They engage in escapism through drinks, games, lust, weed, or work but the problems are still there. They see (and compare themselves to) others who have "friend groups," soul mates, and beautiful families in beautiful homes and wonder, "Why not me?" Rosie's approach is compassionate, yet direct. When she sees a pattern, she will call it out and when the client is ready, initiate the change process - thoughtfully, from a place of wisdom, and with patience. (But be warned, she has a great "bs" detector, too!) Men often appreciate Rosie's direct style and interpretation of women's language and emotions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

For years, I allowed my thoughts to create icky feelings - mostly a lot of anxiety - then behaviors that ultimately didn't bring the love and joy into my life that I was craving. This only reinforced the message that I was unloveable, not good enough, and a loser! Ugh! What a way to live! Wait! Here's the good part! I learned that I have authority over my anxious thoughts, and I didn't have to run from them. I learned to cope with the anxious thoughts because they weren't in any hurry to go away! I can teach you to do the same.
