***Individual Therapy tailored to Hispanic/Latina women aged 30 and older*** Are you exhausted from catering to other people's needs—your family, partners, friends, and colleagues while neglecting your own—but unsure how to change? Even though you’re left feeling angry, you may suppress those feelings. You may feel guilty when you prioritize your needs. You may often feel compelled to please others (but not yourself) and struggle to set boundaries. Your decisions might often be influenced by their impact on those around you rather than being guided by your own needs, feelings, and wants, potentially limiting your freedom to authentically choose. As a result, your own desires may be overlooked. Deep down, you know you’re not living your fullest expression of you.
In therapy, I will compassionately guide you to become aware of your needs, desires, and feelings so you develop a healthy relationship with yourself. You’ll rediscover your authentic self so you can cultivate a life you truly want regardless of cultural, societal, religious, or family expectations. You’ll shift from denying your needs to paying attention to what YOU want out of life. You’ll develop healthy coping skills, nurture your unique interests, and cultivate a meaningful and authentic life where you can be your true self.
