(she/her)
Hi, I'm Cindy. I'm a trauma-informed therapist and EMDR specialist who helps adults navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and divorce. My style is warm, supportive, and direct. I provide a safe space to process what you're going through while helping you identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy with me is active and focused on real growth—not just talking about the same problems week after week. If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for change, I'll meet you where you are and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Your first session is a relaxed conversation—no preparation needed. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what's been challenging, and what you'd like to change. My style is warm, supportive, and direct. I work best with people who are ready to move beyond insight and create meaningful change. Together, we'll identify goals and begin building a path forward. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and hopeful. And if I'm not the right fit, I'll help connect you with someone who is. Feeling nervous before your first session is completely normal. In fact, it often means you're ready for something different.
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and challenged to grow. As a trauma-informed therapist and EMDR specialist, I help adults move beyond feeling stuck, heal from the past, and create meaningful change. My style is both compassionate and direct. Together, we'll identify patterns that no longer serve you, build effective coping skills, and help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your life.
I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or anxious and are ready for real change. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions like divorce, relationship challenges, or loss, and want to better understand the patterns that keep them feeling the same. They value a therapist who is warm, supportive, and easy to talk to—but also honest and direct. If you’re open to doing deeper work, including trauma-focused approaches like EMDR, and want to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life, we’ll likely be a great fit.
I identify as
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven therapy that helps your brain heal from distressing or overwhelming experiences. Instead of just talking about what happened, EMDR uses gentle bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to help your nervous system reprocess memories that feel “stuck.” Many clients find EMDR helps reduce emotional intensity, anxiety, and negative beliefs — so past experiences no longer feel so present. It’s structured, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel calmer, more grounded, and empowered moving forward.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and learn practical tools to challenge them, build healthier coping skills, and create positive change. CBT is goal-focused, structured, and designed to help you feel more in control of your emotions and daily life.
Interpersonal
Interpersonal Therapy focuses on how your relationships and life changes affect your mood and emotional well-being. Together, we look at patterns in communication, boundaries, grief, role transitions, and conflict. The goal is to strengthen healthy relationships, improve how you express your needs, and reduce symptoms like anxiety or depression by building stronger connection and support in your everyday life.

Cindy has helped me get through the toughest time of my life. I have experienced immense loss and grief and she has helped put that in perspective and validate my feelings. The EMDR was intense but has had an amazing impact on getting me past these traumatic events.

So far I have had one session, I will be booking reoccurring sessions with Cindy. She was honest about her approach and set the tone for a welcoming space. I look forward to continuing.

I’ve met with Cindy once but she was great just when meeting her. I did t feel any resistance to my needs even though she was direct and structured in her guidance. I feel safe and comfortable so far.
