Hi, I'm Jessie, a compassionate therapist dedicated to women's mental health. Have you ever felt lost in your marriage or your motherhood? Do you feel like the stress and anxiety of daily life leave you with less than you desire for yourself or your family? With a profound understanding of the intricate ties between emotional well-being and relationships, I can help guide you toward healing. Drawing from my expertise in trauma therapy, I provide a safe space for addressing past wounds. My empathetic approach extends to addressing common struggles like anxiety and depression. With a nurturing focus on marriage and motherhood, I empower you to embrace your roles while caring for your mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together I'll ask you to talk a bit more about why you're seeking therapy now, your past experiences(s) with therapy if you've had any, and set some expectations about the work we'll do together. You'll hear a little bit more about how I work, the background that I have, and hopefully leave feeling supported and encouraged in the decision you've made to start this journey.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

As an eclectic and holistic therapist, I pull from several different methods including CBT, EMDR, client-centered, psychoanalysis, and mindfulness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my biggest strengths is my ability to connect with and support you as you face life's difficulties. With a profound background in trauma work, I hold a keen understanding of the impact of past experiences on present emotions. It's from this space that I can meet you where you are, challenge you in your thinking, and help you grow in your confidence and self-awareness. Furthermore, my focus on parenting and motherhood will provide you with invaluable guidance as you work to balance your roles and responsibilities while maintaining your own mental well-being. From there you'll find that your relationships grow as will your contentment with your life. In addition, upon your request, I will gladly explore the role of faith and the impact of the church in your life as well.
