New to Grow
Growing up in metro Atlanta, Autumn saw firsthand the gaps in mental health representation—and she made it her mission to become the therapist she wished she had. With a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Addiction Counseling from the University of North Georgia, she dedicates her career to showing up for the communities that have been overlooked for far too long. Autumn's journey has taken her through adolescent and adult rehabilitation centers, where she witnessed the power of breaking cycles and reclaiming lives from substance use. For the past three years, she has served as a school-based therapist, walking alongside children and adolescents during some of their most vulnerable moments.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During your first session, you can expect that the "car" will be driven by you. We will go at the pace that allows you to build comfort and provides your nervous system with a sense of safety to encourage openness.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I take a holistic approach, helping clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences all connect together. By connecting to the body in the moment, I use identifing subconscious reactions to explore barriers to truth, unhealed wounds, and growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Here's what truly lights me up: working with BIPOC and LGBTQ teens and young adults who are ready to process the trauma that's been keeping them stuck. Together, we work to break generational patterns, navigate the messy transition into adulthood, and build the confidence that says, "I can do this." Because you absolutely can—and you deserve support that truly sees you. You deserve a space where your identity isn't just accepted, but celebrated. Where your story matters. Where healing isn't just possible—it's within reach.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients make space for difficult thoughts and feelings while reconnecting with their values, so they can take meaningful steps toward a life that feels aligned, purposeful, and authentic—even when things feel hard.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how thoughts impact emotions and behaviors, and build practical skills that support healthier coping, emotional regulation, and lasting change in daily life.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to move at their own pace toward growth and healing.
Mind-body approach
I integrate mind–body practices to support nervous system regulation, helping clients reconnect with their bodies, reduce stress, and build awareness of how emotions show up physically, creating a deeper sense of safety and grounding.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I utilized mindfulness skill building to give you a tangible took to take with you outside of sessions.
