Stephanie sees clients and families of all ages for a collaborative and holistic therapeutic experience. She practices from a person-centered approach with an emphasis on artistic expression and the therapeutic relationship. She provides an individualized treatment plan comprised of traditional talk therapy, expressive arts therapy and mindfulness techniques. Her goal is to create a space of unconditional acceptance where the client feels understood, seen and cared for. In that space of healing, clients will find their strength and resiliency to meet their goals and work towards wellness.
I emphasize establishing trust and creating a healing relationship. I welcome your feedback on the therapeutic progress and encourage an open and honest relationship. You should anticipate that I will empower you to grow in a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment. I hope for therapy to be a fun experience as well as healing. Hopefully you can take away a little laughter after each session too
We will build the treatment plan together and create a method that works best for you. Even over zoom, I use expressive arts along with talk therapy to create a safer and insightful experience. You can except to use art, music, movement and more. I am trained in sandtray, play therapy, CBT and mindfulness methods. It is up to you to decide which ones work best for you
My biggest strength is helping you find yours! In all my sessions and no matter the issue, I want to empower you. No toxic positively here though! Your experience is valid and facing difficult emotions does not come easy. I know you have the strength though and we will face these challenges together. But we are also going to have fun doing it.
