Hi! I’m Chelsea, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, & women’s health. Life can certainly be a lot and sometimes we all need a space to process what’s going on without judgment. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive and a place where you can show up exactly as you are...no pressure to have it all figured out (because honestly, who does?).

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and making sure that you feel comfortable. We explore what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and any questions or concerns you may have. I’ll also gather some background information to better understand your experiences and goals. By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a good idea what our work together might look and feel like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my genuine love for this "work". I truly enjoy walking alongside you and witnessing you grow! There is something so incredibly meaningful about being part of that process! I’m am also always learning and staying curious, which I feel is important to being a therapist. I love reading and keeping up with new trainings so I can offer thoughtful, effective care. Just as important, I check in with you along the way since therapy is something we build together, I welcome feedback and want you to feel comfortable sharing what’s working and what’s not.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I truly believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and safe. I have experience supporting clients who have experienced trauma/abuse, recovering from people-pleasing or codependency, relationship challenges, or are navigating anxiety and depression. My hope is that when we reach your goals in therapy, you will feel like you have a deeper understanding of yourself, healthier patterns, and coping skills you can carry with you long after therapy ends.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing safety, collaboration, and compassion for your lived experiences. Together we will move at a pace that feels right to you, building trust and empowerment as you develop to grow and connect with your inner self. This will also include some other modalities such as inner child, parts work, narrative exposure, attachment, somatic and forms of psychoeducation with trauma and the nervous system.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT as a tool to help with identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Together, we work on gaining insight into how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions, and to develop practical strategies that promote healthier coping skills and emotional regulation.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help make space for difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on what truly matters to you. We work on engaging in mindfulness, self-compassion, and values-based action to support you in creating a life that feels meaningful and aligned, even in the face of challenges.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help you with find more balance in your everyday life. Together, we build practical skills for managing emotions, navigating relationships, and coping with stress in healthier ways. This approach helps you feel more in control, strengthen your relationships, and respond to challenges that can be distressing.
