I began my work in behavioral health in 2009 working with children and teens diagnosed with developmental disabilities. I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2012, implementing applied behavior analysis therapy in homes and schools. Then I completed my doctorate in psychology at the University of Rhode Island, which included training in psychoeducational assessment and cognitive behavioral therapy to help youth and their families address concerns stemming from anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. I became a licensed clinical psychologist in 2020, but learning never stops. I aim to help clients identify and achieve their personal growth goals.
In our first session, we will review your specific concerns and past interventions. Then we will begin developing a plan to address your needs and establish a treatment schedule.
I develop plans that are specific, measurable, and generalizable. In-person sessions can occasionally be scheduled to enhance treatment outcomes.
I provide coaching to caregivers with behavior management and/or learning concerns (with and without their child present). My services are also appropriate for teens and adults with needs related to self-management, social skills, and organizational skills.
Caregiver coaching can be helpful to address behavioral concerns and enhance your strategies to promote your child's learning, play, and social skills.
Individual therapy sessions can be helpful to address avoidance behaviors, maladaptive thoughts, and improve coping skills.
