First session
In our first sessions, they can expect a discussion and establishment of short and long term goals. A realistic understanding of what can be achieved in therapy and a commitment to their goals in therapy. They can expect compassion, honesty and full interaction. They can expect to be heard. I hope to motivate clients to move past their fears so that they do not just exist, but thrive in life. I want to help my clients to get past their present discomfort so they can focus on their goals. I hope to help them to feel at peace with themselves and feel the joy of living and the wonder of love.
Strengths
My areas of strength include anxiety, depression, self esteem, women's issues and identity. I am intuitive, insightful and compassionate. I have a sense of humor. My years of experience and the various populations that I have served provides me with both depth and breadth. I have a good skill set that I believe works well with most individuals.
