New to Grow
I am a LCPC- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a LCADC- Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor. I am a Trauma-Informed and Addictions Recovery practitioner, dedicated to guiding individuals through deep healing, recovery and personal transformation. Grounded in belief that every person possesses inherent ability to heal and grow. I work by providing a safe, empathic space for clients for their emotional wellness and recovery. I also work with Addictions, and Dual Diagnosis clients, with same enthusiasm, compassion and motivation.
The first session starts with providing a safe space with compassion, empathy, and understanding your issues and goals. The exploration pace is gentle. We also will go over informed consent, confidentiality, and will work on identifying your strengths and goals. It is a collaborative professional effort, designed to therapeutically support and facilitate healthy change.
I believe different goals require different planning and strategy. Sometimes, sitting quietly to hold space to ground and secure healing is helpful in unpacking heavy emotions; and sometimes navigating life's challenges require a more engaging approach.
Clients can have any number of permutations and combinations of challenges in their lives, which might impact various areas of life. My therapeutic approach adapts dynamically to what you bring in the room. It ranges from slowing down, grounding your system; or a compassionate challenge in breaking old patterns, and more. My approach is aimed at helping you gradually grow from survival mode to a life of stability and clarity.
This framework facilitates adjusting and incorporating modalities based on client-specific presentation and therapeutic goals. It facilitates the precise tailoring of evidence-based practices to individual client symptomatology.
This approach allows to adapt methods to clients unique trauma history, ensuring clients feel safe, seen, and can manage their healing journey.
