Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana specializing in anxiety, trauma, CPTSD, and sexual issues. I completed Sex Therapy Certification through the Sexual Health Alliance and Somatic EMDR training through The Embody Lab. I have experience working in a wide array of settings including, addictions, out-patient care, in-patient psychiatric care, and integrated behavioral healthcare. Throughout my experience, I found my passion in working with individuals and relationships in a personalized therapeutic setting. I love to help clients work on the issues most important to them and to talk about those things that you may not be able to with anyone else. Everything is on the table with me, because it is all YOU!
During your first session, we will review paperwork and go over any questions you may have. We will complete an assessment and review your main issues of concern to create an individually-tailored treatment plan for our future sessions.
Having extensive training in a variety of therapeutic techniques helps us piece together a individualized therapy plan just for you. I work exceptionally well with complex clients who have a lot they want to cover in therapy.
I love working with clients needing help with some of their most intimate concerns. My clients may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationships, and sexual issues. I work exceptionally well with LGBTQ+ clients and those in non-traditional relationship structures.
I use acceptance and commitment therapy to help guide clients in values-based, mindful living and to deal with distressing thoughts and feelings.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients make changes in thoughts and behaviors that are having a negative affect on their life.
I believe the knowledge is power and psychoeducation is the first step to understanding ourselves and what we do in therapy.
I utilize integrative behavioral couples therapy as well as other techniques to help couples foster a loving relationship.
I am trained in somatic EMDR from The Embody Lab and utilize these interventions to help people heal from trauma and CPTSD.
