Hi, I'm Marlo Best, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a passion for helping women navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and the effects of emotionally unhealthy relationships. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical, creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. You'll have the opportunity to share your concerns, challenges, goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, current stressors, and strengths so we can create a plan that fits your needs. My goal is to provide a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and confident about taking the next steps toward positive change
My greatest strength is my ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being honest about what is really going on in their lives. I combine compassion with direct, practical guidance to help clients gain clarity, identify patterns that are keeping them stuck, and move toward meaningful change. Rather than using a one size fits all approach, I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen boundaries, improve emotional well being, and develop tools they can use long after therapy ends. Clients often appreciate my ability to help them see situations from a new perspective while feeling genuinely heard, understood, and supported throughout the process
I am best positioned to serve women who feel like they have spent years taking care of everyone else while losing themselves in the process. Many are struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, or feeling stuck and unsure of their next steps. Together, we focus on building confidence, establishing healthy boundaries, improving emotional well being, and creating a clear path forward. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, regain their sense of direction, and move through life with greater clarity and confidence.
