LMFT, 7 years of experience
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I provide online therapy to individuals across California. I work with adults who are looking to build healthier relationships with themselves and the people in their lives. In my practice, therapy is a safe space for healing and self-exploration. My goal is to help you connect with your emotions by offering a supportive space where you feel seen and heard, in addition to providing tools for personal growth.
In our first session, we will get to know each other and begin building the therapeutic relationship that will ultimately support your growth. I'll conduct an assessment, where I learn about your history and the reason you are currently seeking therapeutic support. I make it a priority to understand who my clients are from a holistic perspective, separate from any problems or pathologies. Tell me your biggest dream, the things that inspire you, and experiences that shaped who you are.
I hold a warm and empathetic space where clients can fully express themselves without any fears of judgment. I find that this allows clients to safely show up in sessions and get the most out of their therapy experience.
I’m passionate about supporting women, mothers, and young adults. I help women reconnect with themselves beyond the pressures of society, while also addressing how their mental health may be influenced by their cycles and conditions such as PMDD. With mothers, I provide a compassionate space to process the realities of motherhood, including the challenges of postpartum and the importance of making room for their own needs. For young adults, I offer support during the transition into adulthood, helping them explore identity, build confidence, and strengthen relationships with clarity and ease.
This is a structured therapy model that I use to empower my clients while they are working to meet attainable goals. It helps me create a curious space where clients discover their natural strengths that can be used as resources.
CBT is a goal-oriented model that focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional well-being. I resource my clients with behavioral and cognitive coping skills to ensure our work in sessions is used in daily living.
The root of my eclectic therapeutic approach is to always see my client as the expert of their own experiences and needs. While using a supportive therapeutic relationship, I emphasize the importance of self awareness and self acceptance. This helps in deepening our work as we move towards ensuring your relationships with yourself and others feels aligned with your values and the person you desire to be.
I use this model to explore the impact early relationships have on current emotional and relational experiences. I help my clients understand their attachment style, heal attachment wounds, and develop healthier relationship patterns.
