LMHC, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
Licensed Mental health therapist specializing in CBT, DBT and MI to help address anxiety, substance use and depression in adults. I have been in the field for over 15 years and have held clinical leadership positions for non-profits and private practice. My approach is compassionate, collaborative and solutions focused utilizing evidence-based practices to help create lasting change. I'm also a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 10 years of specialized substance use experience with a focus on harm reduction.
For our first session, I will introduce myself and my approaches to therapy. We will also go over your reasons for seeking therapy and what makes you unique. I will gather information related to history, symptoms, goals, family history, relationships, work, and overall mental health. Although intake forms are sent prior to the session, we will review them and fill in any gaps. Confidentiality, fees, and other practical matters are also discussed. We will take it at your pace, and I am happy to explain things in ways that are meaningful to you!
I believe in multiple pathways to recovery and healing. I am passionate about creating a positive, non-judgmental environment where trust, vulnerability, and growth can be fostered. I value collaboration, creativity, and diversity.
My ideal client is someone who is willing to ask questions and be curious in order to collaborate together on their treatment plan. This client is also flexible and willing to try different approaches to help the therapeutic process and create growth as well as vulnerability. If you're struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, recovery, or life in general, let me partner with you on your healing journey.
