LMHC, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, and substance use challenges. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients build awareness, develop new coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. In addition to my mental health work, I’m a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 10 years of specialized experience in substance use and harm reduction. I’ve also held clinical leadership roles in both nonprofit and private practice settings, where I’ve guided individuals and teams toward compassionate, evidence-based care. My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way of your goals and develop practical strategies to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and set the foundation for your therapy journey. I’ll share a bit about my approach, review your reasons for seeking therapy, and explore what makes you unique. We’ll discuss your personal history, relationships, work or school life, and the goals you’d like to achieve. I’ll also go over intake forms, confidentiality, and other practical matters so you feel fully informed. There’s no rush — we’ll move at your pace, and you’ll always leave the first session with at least one useful tool or insight to take with you.
I believe there are many paths to healing. My strength lies in creating a nonjudgmental, supportive space where trust and self-discovery can flourish. I value collaboration, creativity, and diversity, and I work with clients to build practical tools that extend beyond therapy sessions. My goal is to help you strengthen your resilience, nurture curiosity about your own growth, and develop a deeper sense of confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
I work with adults who are ready to explore change — whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, or simply feeling stuck. My ideal clients are curious, open, and willing to try new approaches as we collaborate on their treatment plan. If you’re ready to take the next step toward recovery, self-understanding, and balance, I’m here to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
