New to Grow
I am a holistic therapist and spiritual healer who uses clinical counseling techniques. I help people attain peace of mind. I focus on healing the inner child, along with providing the most appropriate coping skills that work best for you. I am a strong advocate for energy work and imagery to heal the trauma. This is not a structured therapy style. This is a Solution-Focused space. Over the course of our treatment, homework is assigned that you won't do four times in a row, then Baby Yoda, crystals, and our ancestors get involved, then you'll do the homework, healing will take place, and you'll say “I feel amazing,” and I'll say “Right?”
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
There's laughing, joking, and getting to the root of the problem. Sessions are in a relaxed atmosphere with no judgment and in a regular conversational style, because formality is for job interviews, not a healing environment. I do not believe in manipulation and am merely a guide in promoting healing and balance by showing you how to honor your mind, body, and spirit.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am the mind detective. I love the human mind and how it operates and we will get to the root of any trauma. I've been through my own trauma and have healed through it and I knew I needed to share my knowledge to help heal others. It's my gift, my purpose, and my calling, and I treat it as such.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
People who are typically drawn to me have had childhood trauma, narcissistic parents and/or narcissistic relationships, have been spiritually or religiously abused but still spiritual; have experienced great loss from a human or pet passing and "bad luck" seems to follow you.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I aid the client in accepting their feelings instead of fighting them in order to know how heal the root problem that's causing the feelings.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Self awarenes is created to figure out why we do certain actions and feel what we feel.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
These are action oriented sessions. Possible solutions are always discussed to every problem along with other healing modailites.
Humanistic
Self wareness along with acceptance for the purpose of growth and healing are incorporated in our sessions.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Focusing on thoughts related to how the body feels to create self awareness with the mindframe of how to become more grounded and feel at peace which healing through trauma.
