New to Grow
I'm a licensed professional counselor who works primarily with women, moms, and young adults who feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or stuck in patterns of people-pleasing. I offer a warm, validating, and integrative approach to therapy, grounded in mindfulness and trauma-informed care. My goal is to help you feel more at ease in your mind and body while building tools that support real, sustainable change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a gentle starting point. We'll spend time getting to know what's been weighing on you, what support has or hasn't helped in the past, and what you're hoping for moving forward. There's not expectation to share everything at once -- we'll go at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, grounded, and a little less alone.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Clients often share that they feel deeply understood and at ease in our work together. I draw from IFS, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches to help you better understand your inner world and develop tools that feel practical and supportive, not overwhelming. I also bring lived experience with anxiety, ADHD, and chronic illness, which shapes my work with empathy, flexibility, and respect for the mind-body connection.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I'm especially well suited to work with women and twenty-somethings who are carrying a lot -- whether that's anxiety, mom guilt, people-pleasing, chronic stress, or difficulty setting boundaries. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who feel exhausted from trying to do everything "right." They're often seeking relief from overwhelm, more self-compassion, and a steadier sense of confidence and calm in their everyday lives.
Attachment-based
I help clients consider and understand their current struggles in light of their attachment styles, sense of security to close others, and how these things contribute to unconscious assumptions.
Biofeedback
Through mindfulness I help clients pay attention to what their bodies are telling them in terms of how they're experiencing a moment or situation, and likewise how they can communicate with their bodies through body-based practices.
Eclectic
Rather than using the same specific techniques and approaches on every client, first I seek to develop an understanding of their unique situation and then consider which technique or approach would be most therapeutic.
