Hey! I'm Laura. I specialize in guiding people through life’s most tender and challenging seasons. I primarily work with women navigating the journey of fertility, pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, and the transition of motherhood. I also work with folks struggling with anxiety and family trauma, My mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where my clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change. My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration. Drawing from IFS, Polyvagal theory, trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and relational frameworks. I help clients explore their strengths, untangle old patterns, and foster healing and growth in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope might feel different in your life. Going through the pain points of this journey can be deeply lonely, you don't need to do this alone. Together, we’ll begin to explore your story, identify meaningful goals, and discuss how therapy can best support you. You will leave session with skills and tools to help feel more grounded and connected to yourself, your baby and your family. My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and never judged.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply compassionate. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, polyvagal-informed work, and relational approaches. This means we look not only at symptoms like anxiety or overwhelm, but also at the deeper patterns and experiences shaping how you relate to yourself and others. We look at how to change our relationship with our anxiety. It's a part of you that is informative, protective and needs to be understood. I help clients slow down, understand the different “parts” of themselves that may feel anxious, critical, or protective, and develop a more compassionate relationship with those inner experiences. What Makes My Work Different Many of my clients tell me they feel a sense of relief in therapy with me because they can finally show up exactly as they are without needing to perform, explain everything perfectly, or minimize their struggles. My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create an authentic, non-judgmental space to help clients feel deeply understood. I work with you to gently untangle long-standing emotional patterns, you'll foster self-compassion and inner confidence. Clients share that with me they often feel calmer, more emotionally grounded, and more connected to themselves. They begin responding to stress and relationships with greater clarity and compassion rather than self-criticism or overwhelm.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work especially well with women who feel overwhelmed, self-critical, or like they are constantly “holding it together” for everyone else. Many of my clients are navigating postpartum anxiety, fertility struggles, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. I also work closely with college students and young adults who are trying to understand themselves more deeply while managing pressure, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future. Often, the people I see are thoughtful, capable individuals who have spent a long time caring for others...but struggle to extend the same compassion to themselves. Clients often come to me wanting to: Reduce anxiety and quiet an overactive mind Feel more confident and grounded in parenting or motherhood Heal from infertility, miscarriage, or birth-related trauma Understand patterns in relationships and build healthier connections Develop greater self-compassion instead of constant self-criticism Feel more like themselves again

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use an Internal Family Systems (IFS): informed approach to help clients understand and work with different “parts” of themselves that influence emotions, behaviors, and patterns in relationships. In my work, I help clients identify protective parts such as inner critics, perfectionistic parts, or avoidant coping strategies, while also gently exploring underlying vulnerable or wounded parts that may carry unresolved pain or fear

Attachment-based

In practice, I support clients in identifying relational patterns such as avoidance, people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, or difficulty trusting others. Through a safe and consistent therapeutic relationship, clients can begin to experience new relational dynamics that foster greater security, emotional awareness, and self-compassion.

Psychodynamic

My work is informed by psychodynamic principles, which emphasize understanding how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence present thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

Trauma Informed Care

I practice from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing the ways trauma and chronic stress can affect emotional regulation, relationships, and a person’s sense of safety. In therapy, I prioritize creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel respected, empowered, and in control of their healing process. I integrate evidence-based strategies that support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and the development of coping skills while moving at a pace that feels safe.
