About me

Hi there—I'm really glad you found your way here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Virginia, also licensed in New York. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Fordham University. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, trauma, burnout, and life transitions. I’ve worked in schools, crisis response, foster care, and psychotherapy settings, which means I bring a grounded, adaptable approach to therapy. I understand how different systems shape people’s lives, and I aim to create a space that’s flexible, affirming, and tailored to each person’s pace and needs. I’m a down-to-earth listener, a practical problem solver, and I love helping people make sense of what feels overwhelming. I often describe therapy as working on a jigsaw puzzle together. We start with what’s clear and slowly fill in the rest, piece by piece. You don’t have to have it all figured out. We’ll take it one step at a time, and I’ll be right there with you. Scheduling note: I reserve Mondays for new client intakes to keep my weekly rhythm structured. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation to help us get a sense of fit before scheduling a full session. During intake, we’ll walk through my weekly schedule and find a time that works well for ongoing sessions. Cancellation policy: No-shows or repeated same-day cancellations may result in a fee. I approach these situations with compassion and flexibility—while honoring the time we set aside together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll begin with introductions and take some time to get to know each other. Then, we'll complete a thorough assessment to better understand your needs, goals, and challenges. This helps me create a personalized plan that will guide our work together. Additionally, you can treat this first session as an "initial consultation" to assess if you feel comfortable and confident moving forward with me as your therapist. It's an opportunity for you to ask any questions and ensure that our approach aligns with your expectations.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is that I help find solutions and/or alternatives to situations that seem unsolvable. With your help, I'm able to pull from the parts that feel and/or look like there are no other options. I'm able to help create another entryway to progress and healing that's realistic for you. I'm empathetic and down to earth and understand life's challenges, mistakes, regrets, growth, pain, sadness, and all of the other emotions and issues we deal with as human beings.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating life transitions or seeking healing. As your therapist, I am committed to standing beside you, supporting you every step of the way on your unique journey. You are the expert of your own life, and I am here to provide guidance, understanding, a space to process, and a safe space to help you heal and grow. Together, we will explore the path forward, at your pace, with compassion and respect.
