Dissecting, exploring and rediscovering yourself and/or relationship is deeply rewarding. I offer a welcoming space where you can unpack your feelings and embark on a healing path and impart with you, your partner(s), and/or family a safe, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic experience. I will assist you in reflection, decision-making, redirection and restructure towards change, healing strategies, movement, growth and decolonization of the mind. Cognizant of multiple realities that shift and differ pertaining to one's life experiences, socioeconomic status, citizenship, gender, ethnicity, and race, I apply culturally informed practices to assist in navigating through multiple forms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss relationship/couples issues, family strain, substance dependency/abuse and traumas. Looking forward to healing!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and creating a comfortable, supportive space. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your goals and intentions for treatment, and any symptoms or challenges you may be experiencing. Together, we’ll explore what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and begin identifying how we can work collaboratively to support your emotional well-being. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this session is about starting where you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is a decolonial, trauma-informed framework that honors each client’s cultural context, lived experience, and systemic realities. I view distress not only through an individual lens, but also in relation to family dynamics, intergenerational patterns, identity, and social stressors. Treatment is highly individualized—there is no one-size-fits-all model. I collaborate closely with clients to tailor therapy to their goals, values, and strengths, integrating evidence-based practices while remaining flexible and culturally responsive. My work emphasizes empowerment, clarity, and helping clients reconnect with their own inner wisdom rather than pathologizing their experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with individuals who are seeking a thoughtful, reflective, and culturally responsive therapeutic space. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, or the emotional impact of chronic stress and systemic pressures. I work especially well with clients who are curious about understanding themselves more deeply, want to break unhelpful patterns, and are open to a collaborative, insight-oriented approach to therapy. My clients often value individualized care, emotional clarity, and a therapist who considers both personal experiences and broader cultural and social contexts in the healing process.
