New to Grow
My mission is rooted in the belief that there is an innate and powerful sense of creativity within each of us, waiting to be unlocked. Through my traditional counseling and expressive art therapies, I work to bridge the gap between the undercurrent of emotions and our conscious awareness. I strive to provide an environment which encourages my clients to explore hidden feelings, build resilience and uncover a deeper kind of inner strength which they can use as they manage their daily challenges. By tapping into that creative energy, together we can find an alternative path in life which leads away from struggle and towards sustained well being.
Your first session with me is all about building rapport and getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, and we’ll also explore what you hope to gain from our work together. Just as importantly, we’ll get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit—I’ll ask you questions, and you’re welcome to ask me questions too. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable beginning this process.
I’ve been in practice for over 30 years and feel honored to have supported so many people on their healing journeys. I integrate expressive arts framework into my work, believing that even if we’re not engaging in an art activity, each person has the innate capacity to respond creatively to life’s struggles. My role is to help you tap into that resilience and creativity as we work together toward growth and healing.
I work best with adults who are navigating life transitions, grief, relationship shifts, or a sense of being “stuck” and wanting something different. Many of my clients are highly sensitive, creative, or deeply reflective people who value having space to explore both their struggles and their strengths. I am well-suited to those who are open to using creativity, expressive arts, and reflective dialogue as part of the healing process. Together, we explore meaning, foster resilience, and build a path toward growth and self-trust.
I practice person-centered therapy, which means I believe you already hold the wisdom and capacity to grow. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and accepted. I often bring in expressive arts—like journaling, collage, or other creative processes—as tools to help you explore your experiences in new ways. Together, we use creativity and connection to uncover insights, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
In my work, I often draw from existential therapy, which focuses on life’s “big questions”—meaning, freedom, relationships, change, and even loss. Together, we explore what matters most to you and how you can live more authentically and intentional
