LCSW, 4 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello! My name is Lauren, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience supporting individuals through mental health crises and providing individual psychotherapy to clients in need. My background as a crisis therapist has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are at- utilizing an empathic, calm, clear path forward during challenging times. I take a warm and solution-focused approach, helping clients build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change. I believe in creating a supportive space where you will feel respected and empowered with a primary focus on healing
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work toward. I’ll ask some questions to get to know your history, your strengths, and your current challenges, and you’ll have plenty of room to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin creating a plan that feels supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your goals.
What makes me unique as a therapist is my balance of warmth and directness—I create a comfortable space while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. I bring practical, evidence-based tools, but I also focus deeply on the human experience: your emotions, your relationships, and your story.
I specialize in working with adults and couples who are motivated to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change. My ideal clients may be navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, low mood, or life transitions, and are looking for a warm, collaborative space to build healthier patterns. I’m especially passionate about helping clients improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and develop practical tools that support long-term wellbeing.
CBT helps people identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to difficult emotions and behaviors. It teaches practical coping skills—like reframing thoughts and using behavioral strategies—that can improve mood and functioning fairly quickly. It’s structured, goal-oriented, and backed by strong evidence for treating anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
