Licensed Mental Health Counselor and PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with over 20 years of clinical experience specializing in eating disorders. I combine advanced family systems training with trauma‑informed, evidence‑based interventions to support clients across the lifespan. My work emphasizes collaboration, practical skill building, and meeting clients where they are to help them reach sustainable recovery and life goals.
In our first session, I will lead with introductions, followed by answering any of their questions, and that will lead to a complete assessment. I like to hear their life story firsthand from them. I will ask curious questions to develop a treatment plan that will assist client in reaching their goals.
I believe recovery is built through collaboration, compassion, and concrete skills. My strengths include: building strong therapeutic alliances, translating complex clinical concepts into practical steps, and creating culturally sensitive treatment plans. I emphasize measurable goals, routine monitoring, and flexible strategies that adapt as clients progress.
